The Phoscao
What pronunciábamos "FOSCAO", but knew it was written as "Raphael."
suspected it was older than cao Cola, but never imagined that it was both. The first advertisement that I found the Phoscao has been in "La Vanguardia" of January 30, 1914.

But Phoscao has, as the ad says, his background in Phosphocacao so that in addition to clarify its etymology, we advance the date in the same newspaper from Barcelona to 11/04/1912.

This product was a tonic particularly suitable, as I said advertising, for the elderly, sick, weak, exhausted and suffering from stomach: neurasthenic ... And are sold in grocery, drug and curiously drugstores.

The Cola Cao
History:
In 1946 is recorded and goes to market Cola Cao, Nutrexpa flagship product.
In 1955 ( note below) is created the "Song of the Negro", which will become a classic advertising in Spain, as brand Cola Cao was the sponsor of a radio serial broadcast in Spain by Cadena Ser between 1955 and 1971: "Matilde, Perico and Periquín."
The original title of the song of Cola Cao is, according to SGAE, "That black" and the alternative displayed on the image. It also appears the operator: Aurelio Jordi Dotras (1932-2004), but not the interpreter, whose name does appear in the National Library: Curl Roberto Abad.

I do not know who the primary responsibility having written the first name of Roberto Rizo Abad with two z's, but as some pages copied to others, the error is so widespread that there is no entry on the Internet (except this one) with the real name of this interpreter composer. Someone complains that he does not get data. No wonder: the double zeta appears only as a performer of "One black man." And yet, in the SGAE and the NBS have enough records. But we'll leave for the end of this post.
back to "One bold", there is no problem to find the famous song. I found many videos and I think the best is this:


But a few years after "One Negro" in 1961, the NBS meeting reviewed a "Chachachá" titled "The Cola-cao". Confirmed by a review of the SGAE. It is authored by a score ... Roberto Rizo Abad! And I suspect it has to be the song that I remember (and I have not found references on the Internet):

The last thing I found was a document (very well prepared, by the way) on the villa Falces Navarra, which is quoted as Roberto Rizo " component of an orchestra musician assiduous Falces parties" back in the years 40-50, and he composed the work "is my Lindo Falces People" at the request of his friend Victor Teresa Bustos.

Thanks to Josep Perramón Baqué I learned that Roberto Rizo died on January 13, 2004, at the age of 90.
